We were blown away by this incredible house! We had to move out of another rental very quickly and Beverly’s team worked with us in such a caring and accommodating way. We stepped into the home and were blown away! The house was so very lovely and the attention to detail was amazing. Our family of 7 have stayed in many rentals in the past 25 years and I can honestly say I have never been more impressed with the care taken to make a stay as comfortable as possible. We enjoy cooking meals and enjoying time around the table and this home was the best stocked home of dishes, cookware, silverware and any essential for cooking we could need. Each shelf was neatly labeled. The kitchen was also fully stocked with paper towels, hand towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods and garbage bags. The living space was open and bright and even more beautiful than the pictures. The beds and linens are very comfortable. The master bedroom and bath were a dream to use! The bathroom has a soaking tub with a television and even bath salts! Large dove shampoo and conditioners were supplied for every bathroom as well as a bar of soap for the shower and liquid soap for each sink. Toilet paper and Kleenex were supplied in each bathroom. The shower was hard to get out of as it was the best shower heads we have ever used. The view looking out on the pool was picturesque. The laundry room was clean, detergent was provided and one of the cabinets held plenty of beach towels. The garage held a second refrigerator, a ping pong table and many beach chairs and supplies. The path leading to the front door is beautifully landscaped, contains several Adirondack chairs and gated and a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee (kerrig or drip as both pots are provided!). We loved being in the beautiful pool! Surrounding the lagoon which is beyond the pool out back were all kinds of different types of birds which were fun to spot from the second floor sitting area with large picture windows. The path to the beach is shaded most of the way and is a quick walk maybe 10 or so minutes. The closest beach entrance was a great section of the beach. While we stumbled upon this treasure very last minute, we will be seeking out Beverly’s bestnest rentals for our future Hilton Head vacations. Their attention to detail truly can not be beat! Thank you for your care of this home to make our stay so memorable!

This house was so cute and spacious. It accommodated our 3 families and the ammenities were great! It was nice to have the beach chairs and umbrella already at the house. We did have to rent bikes, but just a short ride to the beach, shopping and Salty Dog. I highly recommend this place.

Great house, would return.
Kitchen was very well outfitted, it was a pleasure to make meals here and one of the few rental properties where it was easy to cook eggs because the non stick pan was like new! Blender, toaster, stand mixer, pizza wheel - plenty of dishes, cups etc. Also an excellent bar area with a large ice maker and extra beverage fridge there - so handy.

All beds were very comfortable, but take note of upstairs BR layout. The “family suite” has 1 entrance and you walk through the king bedroom, then thru a shared bathroom, to get to the other small bedroom which is a bunk bed (full size on bottom). There is also a tv/den within the suite, with a twin trundle. I had not fully understood the Family suite layout from the photos, the bunk room wasn’t ideal for a tall adult but it worked out Ok. In addition, upstairs there is another living area with a comfy sofa to watch tv plus a king BR with en-suite.
The beach really is just a 10 min walk along the path. Plenty of towels for beach and for showers, which is always appreciated. Also had beach chairs and a handy wagon, plus coolers, to bring to the beach. Glad we heated the pool for our May visit, weather was frequently cloudy but we were very comfortable in the pool. Garage has a new ping pong table too, plus an extra full sized fridge.
Home was very clean, don’t worry that it’s pet-friendly - you will never know if pets were there ! The pond out back provided entertainment watching the gators and big turtles come and go.
Glad we went with the agency, since they provide all the house basics for you - trash bags, tp, cleaning supplies, soaps and shampoos - nice to not have to shop for those things. Very responsive to a couple questions, nice welcome treat!

Don’t hesitate to check out restaurants and activities within Sea Pines, lots of options for restaurants, shops, nature preserve walking, beaches, etc. L

Hurricane Debby shortened our vacation to just 1 day which was a big disappointment for all 11 of us. However, I want to comment on the great service by the B. Serral team in being there for us and on the BESTNEST at 11 Gunnery Lane. This home is incredible with everything ever needed for a great vacation. Only being there 1 night I’m sure we didn’t find all the hidden treasures but what we did find provided everything we needed. We would love to try HHI and the Serral agency and nice again!!

This house worked really well for our family of 6 grandparents/parents and three small children. As always, the house was exceptionally clean and very well equipped for a large group, with plenty of seating options on two levels. Although the weather was cool, we did use the pool which was heated and the outlook is good. Location was better than we anticipated. Very quiet, but adjacent to the path that went right to the beach in 10-12 mins easy walk. A great touch was the selection of streaming options and the fact that screen sharing was an option on all TV's! Helpful with small kids. All in all another first class house allowing us to focus exclusively on enjoying family time.

Our family of 10 spent 6 nights in what must be one of the nicest properties in the BESTNEST group. The updates to the house really make it stunning. The arrangement of the 5 bedrooms allowed the older adults to sleep downstairs while the young slept upstairs. The kitchen was fully equipped and there wasn't anywhere in the house you couldn't see a TV. As always, the house was clean and ready for us to arrive. As an example of the little details BESTNEST looks after, the ice maker in the bar was not working so staff provided use with multiple backs of ice for our stay. And finally, one of the primary reasons we rented this property was the access to the pond where our two diligent fishermen hauled in a couple of large red fish. All in all, another great rental experience from BESTNEST. We have already decided to return to the property for next year's gathering.

"Sleeps 10-12 comfortably" - Three bedrooms that can accommodate 2 people per bed; the "Family Suite" is truly a suite for up to 6 people sharing one bathroom. Not ideal. Would not have worked well for my family of 10 adults and 2 children. Laundry room behind master suite not ideal. 2nd floor family room not ideal due to loft design which interfered with 1st floor living room TV. Furniture in living room not comfortable for lounging and watching tv as a group. Chairs too rigid and stiff. Couch too small. Liked beach towels and "tools" needed for the beach provided. Did not like distance to the beach.

To the Smitherman family-- I am so sorry that you did not find the accommodations at 11 Gunnery Lane to be to your enjoyment. I am hopeful that our readers and future travelers will take into account the fact that nearly every other guest has found this home to be, frankly, fabulous. This is a fairly sophisticated house and should be noted that the lounging area for TV is definitely upstairs, but the living room sofa and barrel chairs are still supremely comfortable. I do think we will change the description to allow for 10 people max, though. Suggestion noted! Most of our travelers bring fewer than 8 guests. We will for sure find you a larger house next time! BESTNEST/Beverly Searles top-notch. Incredibly clean home and well-stocked house. GREAT pool and big kitchen. Fantastic location on bike path - 1.8 miles from Harbour Town, Salty Dog, and Beach Club. Even shorter to beach and small shopping center. Property manager fast to respond to lone major repair issue.

This is one of the most impressively decorated and furnished homes i have ever stayed in. Our group had 3 kids and 5 adults and we were all very comfortable. There are two separate living areas, perfect for families. The master overlooks a little pond in the back and the pool (amazing room). Pretty close to everything, we rented bikes and the house is right on really a nice bike path. Pool area needs a little updating, not up to par with the interior. Very unique layout in the house. We loved it.

We had a wonderful stay with plenty of space for a family of four plus four grandparents. The house is gorgeous and gets beautiful natural light all during the day. The layout is great for multiple families and the kids loved the loft area for games and movie time. The house is located right next to the bike/walking trail which was perfect for walks and bike rides. We can't wait to visit again!
